To provide a communication environment simulation test device capable of executing simulation test of a measured apparatus, while taking account of various communication environments.SOLUTION: A communication environment simulation test device 1 includes a standpoint change-over switch 2 for selecting a standpoint of a communication environment for testing an on-vehicle apparatus (DUT) 30, a message input part 12 for inputting transmission characteristics confirmation data, for confirming the transmission characteristics of the on-vehicle apparatus (DUT) 30 therefrom, a message output part 11 for outputting reception characteristics confirmation data, for confirming the reception characteristics of the on-vehicle apparatus (DUT) 30 thereto, a control information input part 21 inputting an IR control field for confirming the response characteristics of the on-vehicle apparatus (DUT) 30 for a prescribed control information therefrom, and a message confirmation part 42 and a control information confirmation part 43 for testing the transmission characteristics, the reception characteristics and the response characteristics of the on-vehicle apparatus (DUT) 30, based on the standpoint of a communication environment selected by the standpoint change-over switch 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
