PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merging support device capable of supporting smooth merging by making a vehicle traveling on a merging lane recognize a position of a main lane vehicle traveling on the main lane; and to provide a merging support system, an on-vehicle unit, a merging support method and a program thereof.;SOLUTION: A merging support device 10 comprises a registration processing part 110 for acquiring a first speed which is a speed of a main lane vehicle traveling on a spot on the upstream side of a start point of a merging section on a main lane and registering it in a tracking list, a speed correction part 111 for acquiring a second speed which is a speed of a preceding vehicle at the start point of the merging section, correcting the first speed of a following vehicle traveling on the downstream side of the preceding vehicle based on the second speed, and registering it in the tracking list as an estimated speed of the following vehicle, and a notification processing part 112 for determining an estimated position of the main lane vehicle based on the estimated speed, and notifying a merging vehicle traveling on a merging lane of merging support information including the estimated position.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
