To provide a device that can select and output advice to make such life elements as diet or exercise more desirable for cancer prevention and amelioration.SOLUTION: A cancer prevention/amelioration advising device includes: an advice selection unit, which holds an advice selection rule for selecting advice for prevention and amelioration of cancer, using history information of life element information, which is information that affects the physiological activities of a user and/or information that shows the degree of health, and selects advice by using the held advice selection rule with the history information of the life element information and the life element information optimum value of the life elements as variables; and an advice output unit for outputting the advice selected by the selection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
