PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a question utterance determination device, a method and a program for the same that permit more precise question utterance determination even when available learning data is little in comparison with a conventional technique.SOLUTION: A question utterance determination device comprises: a rhythm-characterized question utterance determination unit that determines whether or not an utterance poses a question on the basis of rhythmic characteristics obtained from voice data of the target utterance by using the rhythm characteristics and a rhythm-characterized question utterance model representing the relevance to whether or not the utterance matching the rhythm characteristics poses a question; a language-characterized question utterance determination unit that determines whether or not the utterance poses a question on the basis of language characteristics obtained from the voice data by using the language characteristics and a language-characterized utterance model representing the relevance to whether or not the utterance matching the language characteristics poses a question; and a determination result integration unit that determines whether or not the utterance poses a question by using the determination result of the rhythm-characterized question utterance determination unit and that of the language-characterized question utterance determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
