To address the problem in which various struts such as road signs, power poles, advertisement or beast guard fences are installed on a road shoulder, a surface of slope of various roads or a weeded ground of outer peripheral surface of a firm land, and weeds grow in contact with the outer front face of such struts and are removed by cutting by hand or a bush cutter; among others, the cutting by hand requires large amount of human fatigue or working time, whereas the bush cutter requires caution due to cutting near the strut front face, resulting in loss due to the recovery and repair of, such as, mental fatigue, breakage of the strut, deficit of cutting blade, etc.SOLUTION: A weed-proof collar of various strut installed in weeded ground is provided. The weed-proof collar has a dish-shaped depression concave downward, a dish-shaped outer peripheral circle with a diameter ranging from 4 cm for a small-diameter strut to 20 cm for a large diameter strut in the radial direction of the front face of each strut. The depth of the dish-shaped depression is 0.5 to 3 cm in the vicinity of the outer front face of each strut. Furthermore, the gradient from the dish-shaped convex surface outer periphery to the center is, in a range in the order of 1 to 3 cm from the outer edge or horizontal, parallel or low such as at about 15°.
