An automatic separation and measurement system 1 for strontium comprises: a sample decomposition section 100 decomposing a sample such as a food; a separation/purification section 200 separating and purifying the sample having been decomposed in the sample decomposition section 100; a liquid scintillation preparation section 300 dissolving, in a liquid for scintillation, the sample separated in the chemical separation/purification section 200; a measurement section 400 measuring light emission by radiation from the sample prepared in the liquid scintillation preparation section 300; and a control section 600 automatically controlling the operations of the individual sections as described above. Further, each of the aforesaid sections has a closed structure that prevents the sample and a reagent from leaking outside.
