PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excitation intensity detector.SOLUTION: An excitation intensity detector comprises: a time-series luminance data acquisition unit that images skin luminance which varies according to blood flow to acquire time-series luminance data; an image display unit that displays an image; an RR-interval time-series data detection processing unit that detects RR-interval time-series data from the time-series luminance data; a Fourier transformation processing unit that applies Fourier transformation to the RR-interval time-series data; a high-frequency component/low-frequency component detection processing unit that separates high-frequency components from low-frequency components in a signal that has undergone Fourier transformation processing; and an excitation intensity detection unit that obtains excitation intensity on the basis of a difference in size between the low-frequency components and preliminarily measured reference low-frequency components.
