To provide the motor oil blend and a related method, having enhanced environmental conservation, for properly lubricating engine parts and for advantageously modifying the plastic response of the engine parts.SOLUTION: In the motor oil blend and the related method, the blend comprises no zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate (ZDDP) and no zinc dithiophosphate (ZDTP), and the blend comprises: a motor oil, and a motor oil additive comprising an alpha-olefin and a hydroisomerized and hydrorefined highly hydrocracked base oil, wherein the motor oil is selected from a group of motor oils consisting of Group I, Group II, Group III, Group IV, and Group V motor oils, ZDDP is omitted from a chemical composition of the motor oil, and ZDTP is omitted from the chemical composition of the motor oil.SELECTED DRAWING: None
