PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cholesterol accumulation inhibitor having a higher cholesterol accumulation inhibitory effect than ingesting each of oolong tea or puerh tea alone, and to provide a method for improving a cholesterol accumulation inhibitory action.SOLUTION: A cholesterol accumulation inhibitor comprises tea leaves or an extract of puerh tea, and tea leaves or an extract of oolong tea. The tea leaves or the extract of puerh tea, and the tea leaves or the extract of oolong tea are preferably those heat-sterilized at 100°C or more. Furthermore, either of the extract of puerh tea and the extract of oolong tea is one extracted with water. A method for improving a cholesterol accumulation inhibitory action of either of puerh tea or oolong tea includes adding one to the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
