PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adverse influence of coasting travel, with little fuel efficiency improvement effect, on drivability.SOLUTION: A coasting travel control device 38 comprises an appropriateness determination section 41 and a coasting travel control section 42. The appropriateness determination section: detects a distance that a vehicle can travel on a path, an external travel environment in a current position, by receiving vehicle current position information and navigation information from a navigation device 31; and determines whether or not to execute coasting travel by comparing the distance with a predetermined threshold value. The appropriateness determination section determines that: the current position is not appropriate for the coasting travel when the distance is less than the predetermined threshold value; and the current position is appropriate for the coasting travel when the distance is not less than the predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
