To efficiently return an autonomous traveling type vacuum cleaner (moving body) to a base station.SOLUTION: An autonomous traveling type vacuum cleaner S comprises: a receiving unit capable of detecting a feedback signal; an obstacle sensor for detecting an obstacle 42; and a control unit capable of storing or recalling a point P30a at which the feedback signal is received. The vacuum cleaner executes: a traveling step for calculating a direction to the point P30a with respect to a current position P31 of the autonomous traveling type vacuum cleaner S to move forward in this direction; and a wall-sided traveling mode for, when the obstacle sensor detects the obstacle 42 while advancing toward the point P30a, traveling along an outer edge of the detected obstacle 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
