To perform comprehensive trend evaluation about a target keyword.SOLUTION: A trend evaluation device 1 comprises: a condition designation part 11 for receiving inputs of, from a user, a target keyword which is a target of trend evaluation, and an acquisition period of web articles which are targets of trend evaluation; a relevant article selection part 13 for performing semantic analysis of the web article acquired from the external part, using a result of the semantic analysis, selecting a web article which has a distance with the target keyword being less than a prescribed value, from the acquired web articles; and an analysis part 14 for, out of a word group forming the selected web article, selecting words which have a distance with the target keyword being less than a prescribed value as trend words, and for every selected trend word, calculating a trend evaluation value using the number of the web article including the trend word, and outputting a trend evaluation value for every trend word in the acquisition period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
