To make commercial articles to be sold at a plurality of shops or sites in a fixed range/area purchasable on line without bringing with real commercial articles after customers actually check the commercial article.SOLUTION: A commercial article sales system has: a cart management unit 13 that adds or deletes information on a designated commercial article 40 with respect to a shopping cart; a position information management unit 11 that, when detecting admittance to a prescribed area on the basis of position information acquired from a customer terminal 51, makes the shopping cart usable on the customer terminal 51, and when detecting an exit, causes the use of the shopping cart to be ended; a commercial article information acquisition unit 14 that acquires information on a bar code 41 acquired in the customer terminal 51 to acquire the information on the commercial article 40 from a commercial article DB 22; and a settlement processing unit 16 that makes a settlement about the commercial article 40 added to the shopping cart upon ending the use of the shopping cart.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
