PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic assistance method for the pathogenesis of dizziness of a patient with dizziness.SOLUTION: A head inclination sense Y, which is a difference between a head inclination angle X and a subjective ocular vertical position A, is calculated. A straight line is determined by plotting data in such a manner that the head inclination angle X is set as a coordinate of a lateral axis and that the head inclination sense Y is set as a coordinate of a longitudinal axis, and the inclination of the straight line is defined as a head inclination sense gain Z. When the head inclination sense gain Z is 1.20 or more or 0.90 or less, it is determined that the pathogenesis of the dizziness is a malfunction of a gravity sensitivity function.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
