PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed writing system for Asian languages.SOLUTION: In a method of a high-speed input system performed by a pen 20 or a finger for inputting characters and symbols onto a touch sensor surface 1, input of the characters and the symbols is generated by using tap and stroke by the pen or the finger on the touch sensor surface or their combination. Steps (a), (b), and (c) are combined as input using the 'tap' and/or the 'stroke', (a) the pen or the finger is put down on a pre-selected key, (b) the pen or the finger is moved to one of at least four stroke directions, or (c) the pen or the finger is lifted again afterwards, and the step (b) is repeatable. Thus, a high-speed writing method and system only by several taps and/or strokes are created.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
