PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a nosing member to a treadboard with a good appearance by easy work.SOLUTION: A nosing member 16 for being fixed to a front end of a treadboard 8 of a staircase S includes an approximately plate-like top surface part 17 that covers a front end of a top surface of the treadboard 8, and an approximately plate-like front part 18 that is detachably assembled to the top surface part 17 to cover a front end surface of the treadboard 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
