PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion test device which does not directly discharge smoke exhaust even when an explosion occurs in a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: A combustion test device comprises: a combustion test chamber 10 which has pressure capacity to withstand pressure generated during ignition, combustion and explosion tests; a pressure resistance smoke exhaust treatment facility 40 which is installed at a downstream side of the combustion test chamber, removes powder dust in smoke exhaust discharged therefrom and has the pressure capacity; a non-pressure resistance smoke exhaust treatment facility 42 which is installed at the downstream side of the pressure resistance smoke exhaust treatment facility, has a dust collection machine to remove the powder dust in the smoke exhaust discharged therefrom and has no pressure capacity; an air supply device 28 which is installed at an upstream side of the combustion test chamber and supplies combustion air; and pressure control valves 10b and 14b which are installed between the air supply device and the combustion test chamber and between the pressure resistance smoke exhaust treatment facility and the non-pressure resistance smoke exhaust treatment facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
