To contribute to the development of high polymer materials that are superior in destruction resistance.SOLUTION: Provided is a simulation method for evaluating destruction properties of a high polymer material containing fillers and polymers by using a computer, and a destruction property evaluation method for a high polymer material. The simulation method includes the steps of: calculating deformation of a high polymer material model 10 under a deformation condition that forms holes in at least a part of the polymers of the high polymer material model 10; and calculating size of the holes in each region 30 by segmenting an internal section of the deformed high polymer material model 10 into plural regions 30. Further, the evaluation method includes the steps of: deforming the high polymer material under the deformation condition that forms holes in at least a part of the polymers; and measuring size of the holes in each region by segmenting the internal section of the deformed high polymer material into plural regions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
