PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser build-up device and a laser build-up method, capable of suppressing generation of a blowhole by a metal powder aggregate.SOLUTION: A laser build-up device 100 in an embodiment includes a feed section 10 for feeding metal powder 26, and a laser oscillator 30 for outputting a laser beam 31. The laser build-up device for forming a build-up layer 76 by irradiating the laser beam 31, while feeding metal powder 26 from the feed section 10 has an imaging part 40 for imaging the front in the traveling direction of a molten weld pool 33, and can adjust the position of the imaging part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
