PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation device and a cultivation method capable of using arid water having high salinity density.;SOLUTION: The cultivation device of the invention comprises: a restriction medium on which crops are adhered; a storage tank which stores a culture liquid obtained by mixing fertilizer to arid water and which is positioned at a low position lower than the restriction medium; a liquid feeding part which connects a bottom part of the restriction medium and storage tank, and can supply the culture liquid in the storage tank to a bottom part of the restriction medium by capillarity phenomenon; a culture liquid supply part which has a mixing device for mixing fertilizer to the arid water for obtaining the culture liquid, and which supplies the culture liquid to the restriction medium or the storage tank so as to maintain a liquid level height of the storage tank in a constant range; and an arid water spraying part for spraying the arid water to the restriction medium.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
