PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a power stored in an accumulator battery.SOLUTION: A charge and discharge period setting device comprises: a power amount calculation part that calculates at least one of a power amount discharged from an accumulator battery for the purpose of setting power consumption of a predetermined load to a first reference value and a power amount charged in accumulator battery, on the basis of a prediction value of the power consumption of the predetermined load and the first reference value; a comparator that compares at least one power amount with a power amount stored in the accumulator battery; a first determination part, in a case where at least one power amount is smaller than the power amount stored in the accumulator battery, determines that a period in which the prediction value becomes higher than the first reference value is a discharge period for discharging the accumulator battery, and determines that a period in which the prediction value becomes lower than the first reference value is a charging period for charging the accumulator battery; and a second determination part, in a case where at least one power amount becomes larger than the power amount stored in the accumulator battery, determines that a period in which the prediction value becomes higher than a second reference value is the discharge period, and determines that a period in which the prediction value becomes lower than a third reference value is the charging period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
