PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair that can be easily positioned at a toilet bowl without requiring accurate operation at the time of using a toilet, and can be turned within a required minimum moving rage in the toilet.;SOLUTION: An electric wheel chair comprises: a seating part in which an opening part or a cutout part is formed at a center of a seating surface; a first drive unit including a first drive wheel in which a right centroid of the seating part acts on a rotating shaft, a first motor for rotationally driving the first drive wheel, and a first frame for covering the first motor and pivotally supporting the first drive wheel; a second drive unit including a second drive wheel in which a left centroid of the seating part acts on a rotating shaft, a second motor for rotationally driving the second drive wheel, and a second frame for covering the second motor and pivotally supporting the second drive wheel; and a control unit for controlling the first motor and the second motor. The seating part, the first drive unit, and the second drive unit form a space that can be moved until a toilet bowl is located on the lower side of the opening part or the cutout part.
