PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain valve device having a fitting part that enables an operation wire extending from a wire pull-up-type operation device to be connected readily and accurately to a valve body inside a casing of the drain valve device.SOLUTION: A drain valve device 28 is fitted on an exhaust port of a flush water tank that stores flush water for flushing a toilet bowl, and includes a drain part body 48 provided above the exhaust port of a flush water tank 6 and opens/closes an exhaust port 10 of the flush water tank 6 by moving up and down a valve body 52 provided inside a casing 50. The drain part body 48 includes a fitting part 90 capable of detachably fitting an operation wire 86 extending from a wire pull-up-type operation device 82 on the valve body 52 provided inside the casing 50 of the drain part body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
