PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting composition in which three-photon absorption occurs at 800 to 1,300 nm for multicolor imaging at the deep part of an organism by bioimaging light emitting globe and a light emitting peak is narrow.SOLUTION: Provided is a light emitting composition light-emitting by three-photon excitation including a complex represented by formula (1)(n1 and n3 denote 0 to 3; n2 denotes 2 to 5; L denotes a bidentate ligand selected from 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoroacetylacetone (hfa) or the like; X denotes Cl, Br or I; and M denotes Eu or Sm).SELECTED DRAWING: None
