PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fixing device which can fix a portable terminal easily and securely.;SOLUTION: A terminal fixing device according to an embodiment includes a body part, a holder, a lock mechanism, a detection part, and a lock control part. The body part is mounted on a vehicle and has a predetermined function. The holder is provided at the body part and has a placement space in which a portable terminal is placed. The lock mechanism is provided at the holder so as to fix the portable terminal. The detection part detects placement of the portable terminal on the placement space in the holder.
