PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustical panel and a sound proof wall equipped with the same which are less likely to be damaged even in the event of contact or collision.;SOLUTION: A sound proof panel 1 for absorbing noise from a noise source to reduce the spread of noise, comprises: a panel body 2 being a metal body with an open front surface facing the noise source; and a sound absorption material 3 accommodated in the panel body 2 to absorb noise. The front surface of the panel body 2 is covered with a face material 4 made of a fiber material and having a cushioning property in a state where the sound absorption material 3 is accommodated.
