PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine metal particle dispersion composite suitably used for a sensor material excellent in sensing function and durability, and a sensor using the same.SOLUTION: A nano composite 10 includes: a matrix 1 having a solid skeleton part 1a and air-spaces 1b formed by the solid skeleton part 1a; and fine metal particles 3 fixed to the solid skeleton part 1a of the matrix 1. The solid skeleton part 1a includes a metal oxide/a hydroxide, such as, for example, alumina, an aluminum oxyhydroxide or an alumina hydrate and a photocatalyst active material and has a three-dimensional network structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
