A transgenic vector comprising a humanized light chain locus, wherein the humanized light chain locus is (a) a V gene segment derived from the human light chain V segment IGKV1-39-01, (b) the light chain A transgenic vector comprising a promoter 3 ′ proximal to a gene segment and (c) at least a fragment of a human IGKJ4 J element 5 ′ proximal to the light chain gene segment is reported herein.
