PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of a diesel engine which can prevent a start of the reverse rotation of an engine.SOLUTION: At engine reverse rotation 11, a plunger 4 is pushed into a top dead point side on a fuel suction cam face 2b, fuel 8 is injected into a combustion chamber 7 from a plunger chamber 5 via an injector 6, a fuel injection period 12 at the engine reverse rotation 11 in which the fuel 8 is injected is started 12a during an exhaust stroke 13 at the engine reverse rotation 11, the injected fuel 8 is partially or wholly discharged from the combustion chamber 7 via an intake valve port 14 during the exhaust stroke 13, a plurality of fuel injection cams 2 are arranged in response to a plurality of cylinders, reverse rotation start prevention cams 20 are used in a plurality of the fuel injection cams 2 which inject the fuel 8 into a plurality of the cylinders, and cylinders at both ends of the engine are included as a plurality of the cylinders to which the fuel 8 is injected by the reverse rotation start prevention cams 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
