PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detection rotation deficiency of each wheel at a low cost even if a number of wheels travel continuously without depending on environment in which carriages are provided.;SOLUTION: A rotation deficiency detector detects rotation deficiency of wheels provided on a carriage traveling on a rail. Arrival of the weeks is detected each by first and second detection sections that detect arrival of the wheels at predetermined imaging positions and are placed side by side along an advance direction of the carriage, surfaces of the wheels that are fixed to the wheels and include a predetermined mark rotating following rotation of the wheels are captured, based on output signals for detection of the wheels outputted from the first and second detection parts, respectively, two kinds of captured images are generated each, and image processing is performed to the two kinds of generated captured images, thus detecting rotation deficiency of the wheels.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
