To provide a flux-cored wire which is superior in cold crack resistance, obtains a weld metal with excellent high temperature strength, generates a small amount of spatter, and is superior in vertical weldability, and to provide a manufacturing method of a weld joint.SOLUTION: In a flux-cored wire for gas shield arc welding, the flux comprises: 0.11% or more but less than 2.00% of fluoride in total of an F conversion value; in total 3.50% or more but less than 13.00% of oxides containing Cr oxide and Ti oxide; and 0% or more but less than 10.0% of iron powder. Further, the flux-cored wire is comprised of: less than 1.00% of a CaFcontent; 2.50% or more but less than 8.50% of a Ti oxide content; 0.10% or more but less than 10.00% of a Cr oxide content; less than 0.20% of a Ca oxide content; and chemical components excluding fluoride, oxides, and carbonates, that fall within a prescribed range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
