Catalytic reactor for liquid chromatography coupled to a flame ionization detector

A system is provided that includes a device that performs one or more reactions on a liquid or supercritical fluid chromatography effluent and subsequently produces molecules that are detected by a suitable detector. This makes it possible to perform a method for detecting and quantifying organic molecules from liquid chromatography in order to increase the detection limit and make all organic molecules detectable.
