PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion liquid containing surface-modified inorganic particles, in which surface-modified inorganic particles are dispersed in a dispersion medium in a shorter time compared to the prior arts and the dispersion liquid has excellent dispersion stability and storage stability.SOLUTION: The dispersion liquid containing surface-modified inorganic particles comprises a dispersion medium and surface-modified inorganic particles which are surface-modified with a hydrosilyl group, a hydrophobic functional group and a silanol group. A ratio of the hydrosilyl group to the silanol group is 5:95 or more and 50:50 or less. The dispersion liquid containing surface-modified inorganic particles contain a sulfuric acid ion measured by a combustion decomposition-ion chromatography, by 5 ppm or more and 1000 ppm or less. The surface-modified inorganic particles have an average dispersion particle diameter of 1 nm or more and 50 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
