PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receipt output device and the like which can automatically issue a receipt in a format corresponding to a customer.SOLUTION: A POS device 1 includes: a purchased product data acquisition unit 31 which acquires purchased product data containing the product name and price of the product purchased by a customer; an individual data acquisition unit 32 which acquires individual data of the customer; a receipt format setting unit 34 which sets the format of the receipt for the customer on the basis of the individual data acquired by the individual data acquisition unit 32; a printing data creation unit 35 which creates printing data for printing the receipt in the format of the receipt set by the receipt format setting unit 34 on the basis of the purchased product data acquired by the purchased product data acquisition unit 31; and a printing data output unit 36 which outputs the printing data created by the printing data creation unit 35 to a printer 15 for printing the receipt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
