METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING SHORT-TIME FORECAST ALONG ROUTE ON MAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device, a system and a computer readable medium for using a weather forecast to generate an itinerary on a map.;SOLUTION: A server may receive a map request from a user or the device. The request may include a departure place and a destination. The server may acquire map data possibly suitable for being displayed on a display device in response to receiving the map request. The map data may include a route drawn between the departure place and the destination. The server may further acquire a weather forecast associated with one or a plurality of main points along the route. On the basis of the weather forecast, the server may make a modification to the map data so as to contain a visual sign indicating at least one weather forecast associated with the main point on the route.
