PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage brick structure of a coke oven regenerator and a heat storage brick in which no damage is provided on partition wall bricks of the coke oven regenerator.SOLUTION: A heat storage brick 2 comprises lines of slits 3 penetrating in vertical direction of the brick and through which gas flows. Communication spaces 5 communicating the slits each other are provided at end part in vertical direction of the brick. Heat storage bricks at least lowermost and second lowermost stages comprise walls reaching a brick end part at communication side on at least 3 surfaces among 4 side surfaces. Heat storage bricks B2b having no opening of the communication space to outside are used at the side surface of the side facing to regenerator partition wall 20. Thereby, low-temperature gas never contact to silica bricks on heated partition wall 20, thus damage generated on the partition wall bricks of the coke oven regenerator may be prevented. It is preferable that gap between the partition wall 20 and the heat storage brick 2 is filled with sand 10 at least the lowermost stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-2
