To provide a system that can be stably operated even while securing redundancy in a distributed processing system, a method and a program.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a distributed processing system configured by including multiple information processing devices that are connected in a mutually communicable manner, and capable of performing parallel processing in which one information processing device can perform predetermined processing in parallel with another information processing device. The distributed processing system comprises: a configuration information storage part 51 for storing configuration information that is information relating to the number of information processing devices constituting the distributed processing system and a combination of the information processing devices; a state monitoring part 52 for monitoring an operational state of each of the information processing devices; and a system reconfiguration part 53 by which, in a case where a change in the operational states of the information processing devices is detected, the configuration information is changed based on the number and the combination of the operating information processing devices and at least one or more operating information processing devices are caused to perform the predetermined processing alone or in parallel based on the changed configuration information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
