To provide an image sensor, an information processing apparatus, a detection system, a detection program, and a detection method, capable of detecting an abnormal situation with the less number of installed image sensors.SOLUTION: A detection system includes an imaging unit, an image processing unit 240, an output unit 270, and a sensor movement transmitting unit 260. The imaging unit acquires image data of a target area by imaging a target area. On the basis of the image data, the image processing unit executes processing of determining whether there is a change in the target area within a predetermined time. The output unit outputs the processing result in the image processing unit.
