PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information carrier that increases a reflection light quantity generated from a semi-cylindrical streak having an upsurge without using a special material, and has high visibility of an emerging latent image, is clear in a change effect and can be manufactured at low cost.SOLUTION: An information carrier of the present invention is formed of a printed image comprising: a first image comprising second significant information comprising an information part and a background part with a parallel line-shaped streak printed so as to have an upsurge using a resin-based material in a portion on a base material; and a second image including at least any one of optical properties of the light and shade flip-flop property or the color flip-flop property, and representing first significant information in the range of a constant tone expression region. The streak is configured by including a first streak included in the information part, and a second streak included in the background part and having an arrangement direction different from that of the information part, and thereby authenticity determination is made possible in which the first significant information is changed with the second significant information when varying an observation angle to the base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
