PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rise capability measurement chair freely adjustable in height in order for determining an achievement value evaluating a rising posture with a rising capability considered as the most important among basic motion capabilities of a human as an evaluation factor of locomotorium degradation, and quantitatively evaluating a progress degree of deterioration of the basic motion capability in response to aging of a measurement target person.SOLUTION: A rise capability measurement chair includes: first right/left side plates; second right/left side plates capable of being arranged in parallel to the first right/lest side plates; and a seat plate arranged with a support member. First engagement grooves in plural vertical stages are arranged in the first right/left side plates. Second engagement grooves in the plural vertical stages are arranged in the second right/left side plates. By the support member engaging selectively with the first and second engagement grooves in the plural vertical stages, the height of the seat plate can be freely adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
