PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower that is light weight and suppressed in deterioration of strength, and to provide a vacuum cleaner including the electric blower.SOLUTION: The electric blower includes: an electric motor for rotatably driving an impeller; a substantially circular diffuser constituted of a diffuser vane disposed on an outer peripheral side of the impeller and a return vane disposed at a back face; and a fan casing for covering the impeller and the diffuser. The fan casing is made of an aluminum material. A ring-shaped member made of a steel plate is disposed on a side opposite to the diffuser in the fan casing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
