A storage unit 81 stores, for each target product group containing a plurality of products, an in-stock demand amount indicating the amount of demand when the products included in the target product group were in-stock and an out-of-stock demand amount indicating the amount of demand when one or more products included in the target product group were out-of-stock, the storage unit storing the foregoing demand amounts in association with the respective periods of time. An opportunity loss calculation unit 82 calculates the opportunity loss of the target product group containing the product that was out-of-stock, for the period of time in which the product was out-out-stock, on the basis of the in-stock demand amount and the out-of-stock demand amount in a corresponding period of time stored in the storage unit 81.
