PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an affection of a false report source and to improve detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A laminar flow smoke detection device comprises: an image memory (10) for storing plural laminar flow smoke images and plural false report source images as object images, and storing a reference image during advance preparation, and storing a monitor object image which is imaged during monitoring; a feature amount extract part (20a) for calculating an LBP feature amount indicating similarity with the reference image, for every object image; a feature amount histogram creation part (31) for creating a laminar flow smoke feature amount histogram related to the LBP feature amounts which were calculated about the plural laminar flow smoke images, and creating a false report source feature amount histogram related to the LBP feature amounts which were calculated about the plural false report source images; and a laminar flow smoke determination part (32) for determining whether or not there is a laminar flow smoke in the monitor object image, based on a relationship between the LBP feature amount calculated to the monitor object image, and the laminar flow smoke feature amount histogram and false report source feature amount histogram.
