SOLUTION: There is provided an ultraviolet absorptive addition silicone rubber composition containing (A) organopolysiloxane represented by the following average composition formula (1) RSiO(1), where Ris same or different, unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group and n is a positive number of 1.95 to 2.05 and having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule and polymerization degree of 100 or more:100 pts.mass, (B) reinforcement silica having specific surface area of 50 m/g or more:10 to 100 pts.mass, (C) an ultraviolet absorber:0.001 to 1 pts.mass, and (D) alkyl perester organic peroxide and/or peroxy ketal organic peroxide as a curing agent:curing effective amount.EFFECT: A cured article of the ultraviolet absorptive addition silicone rubber composition (silicone rubber) can maintain excellent ultraviolet absorption property and suppress yellow discoloration after postcure.SELECTED DRAWING: None
