PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stay support member which prevents damage to a deck side and a tail gate side caused by the vibration of a stay member as well as occurence of abnormal noise, and hardly causes damage even if a tail gate is repeatedly opened and closed for a long period of time, and a stay accommodation structure.SOLUTION: A stay support member 10 which supports an accommodated stay member 6 comprises: a base body part 20 which is supported to attachment regions 3a, 4a in a contact state; and a warpage deformation part 40 which is connected to the base body part 20 at its one end side and the other end side, in which a clearance between one end side and the other end side is protruded in a state of being separated from the base body part 20, and a surrounded space S is thereby formed between the end sides, and which has an elastic force for restoring the support member when push-in is released after the support member is pushed in by the stay member 6. The warpage deformation part 40 is pushed in so as to make the stay member 6 progress toward the base body part 20, the surrounded space S is thereby contractedly deformed, and an energization force for eliminating the wobbling of an attachment point with the other member is exerted on the stay member 6 by the deformation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
