PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper story floor structure that enhances sound insulation performance than an existing upper story floor structure, along with a construction method of the upper story floor structure.SOLUTION: An upper story floor structure includes: a plurality of floor joists 3 arranged leaving an interval therebetween; a floor surface material 4 fixed on a top surface of the floor joist 3; a ceiling joist 5 arranged leaving an interval from the floor joist 3; a ceiling substrate material 6 fixed on the ceiling joist 5; and a ceiling surface material 7 fixed on the ceiling substrate material 6. The ceiling substrate material 6 includes a first fixing plate part 11 fixed on the ceiling joist 5 through a fixing material, a second fixing plate part 12 on which the ceiling surface material 7 is fixed through the fixing material, and an elastically deformable connection part 13 connecting the first fixing plate part 11 with the second fixing plate part 12. A gap is formed between the floor joist 3 and the ceiling substrate material 6, and between the floor joist 3 and the ceiling surface material 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
