PURPOSE: A steel composite beam for reduction of story height, a slim floor structure using the same, and a construction method thereof are provided to lower height of story of a structure and minimize the deflection for construction loads, thereby preventing the deterioration of structural performance of a beam and improving the workability.;CONSTITUTION: A steel composite beam (100) for reduction of story height comprises an upper flange (110), a lower flange (120), a web (130), and a concrete part (150). The web connects the upper flange and the lower flange and has a plurality of longitudinal openings (131) formed by cutting a steel plate. The concrete part is formed by applying concrete to the lower flange and unitizes concrete placed to both sides of the web through the openings.
