PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume reduction processing method of jellyfish waste, capable of easily performing volume reduction processing of jellyfish waste, without using a high level processing method in viewpoints of appliance and technique.SOLUTION: A volume reduction processing method of jellyfish waste comprises: a step S1 for performing aeration processing to a jellyfish waste liquid generated from jellyfish waste, thereby decomposing an organic substance included in the jellyfish waste liquid; and a step S2 for stopping the aeration processing, when it is detected that, the organic substance is decomposed from organic nitrogen (O-N) to ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
