PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared painting service configured to allow each user to confirm a work process in drawing a picture or a technique, such as a layer structure.SOLUTION: A plurality of terminal devices 1A, 1B... and a management device 3 are connected over a network 2. The terminal device holds a layer structure, for each user who has performed image operation, generated based on image operation data indicating the contents of image operation of each participant, on a canvas which is a painting area, in participating in a shared painting service from the management device. When there is canvas data including layer information and a layer image, the terminal device receives and displays the canvas data, receives image operation data based on image operation of another participant from the management device, and updates the canvas data, for screen display. The terminal device receives image operation by a user to generate image operation data, transmits the image operation data to the management device, and updates the canvas data, for screen display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
