PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible light-responsive photocatalytic composite which is more inexpensive and surely possesses both excellent material adsorption performance and visible light-responsive photocatalytic performance.SOLUTION: Provided is a visible light-responsive photocatalytic composite which exhibits photocatalytic activity in a wavelength region of visible light, comprising: an adsorbent generated by mutual agglomeration of a plurality of flakes comprising calcium phosphate via a cavity portion; and a visible light-responsive photocatalyst comprising silver phosphate supported in a dispersed state on a surface or an end part of the flakes. Hereat, by using one of octacalcium phosphate and calcium hydrogen phosphate as calcium phosphate, the calcium phosphate constituting the adsorbent is made flaky to make it easy to support silver phosphate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
